Backpack Roguelike is a strategic action roguelike where inventory management decides survival. Enter the Neon Catacombs as a Pack Runner, a small neon-lit creature fighting through Glimmer-corrupted depths. Your magical backpack is your shield against corruption, but only if you build and organize it with precision.

At the heart of the game is a tactical backpack grid. Expand your inventory from 4x4 up to 7x7 slots, place items carefully, and create powerful adjacency-based synergies. Matching tags strengthen nearby gear, turning every placement into a meaningful strategic decision. This is not random loot chaos. This is deliberate build engineering.

Discover more than 150 items across five rarity tiers and combine them through over 80 merge recipes. Upgrade humble starting gear into devastating endgame equipment, from simple tools to legendary relics like the Void Crown. Shape runs around burst damage, area control, sustain, status effects, or extreme scaling.

Fight through real-time, wave-based combat where skill matters as much as your build. Dash through danger, manage mana, and position cleanly to survive escalating enemy pressure. Bad decisions are punished fast. Strong planning is rewarded immediately.

Face 13 enemy types with distinct AI behaviors and take on 11 unique bosses with custom phases and attack patterns. Every boss is a build check, a movement test, and a mechanical challenge. The explosive Boss Slime pressures space control, the teleporting Wraith punishes weak reactions, and the regenerating Hydra exposes inefficient damage setups.

Progress beyond individual runs with a long-term meta system featuring Tech Tree upgrades and Prestige progression. Earn Shards and invest permanently into combat, magic, economy, and utility. Unlock 11 playable avatars, each with a unique starting bonus and strategic identity, enabling different approaches to every run.

Play online co-op with two players and turn teamwork into a core mechanic. Share one backpack, coordinate your builds, and revive each other in battle. Communication and planning become part of the run itself.

running locally. Non-English translations were generated using local LLMs (Ollama) and manually reviewed. No external AI
services are used during gameplay. All AI-generated content was produced offline during development.
