“We expect the game to be in Early Access for three to six months. But as we all know, no battle plan survives contact with the enemy!”

“Depending on what YOU, the audience tell us you want over the course of the Early Access, the full version of Atomic Space Command could have features like:

• Upgradeable crew via training, cybernetics and new outfits & skins
  
• More arenas and versus game modes
  
• Many kinds of leaderboards
  
• Support for player clans
  
• Support for tournaments
  
• Single player story missions and campaigns
  
• Fun vanity equipment and items
  
• Support for adding items via Workshop
  
• Voiceover and more audio and music content
  
• FIGS, R/J/K and other language support

We like to focus on the fun things first and will prioritize the work on regular releases during Early Access with that in mind. Please keep in mind that since this is complex game with lots of network gameplay, it's likely things will be broken, account progress will get wiped, matches will be dropped in the middle, and so on - so expect the unexpected, nugget!”

“Atomic Space Command is at Alpha, which for us means:

• The basic systems are complete for a multiplayer ship build with networked players in a hangar
  
• A single arena fight map is working with co-op manned network ships of up to 8 total players between two teams with winnable victory conditions
  
• Ships have systems like weapons, helm, shields, power, medical, hacking and crews that must be managed.
  
• Planets have build points and a selection of installations to build on them.
  
• A basic AI system flies team-aligned fighters and smart mines around the arena.
  
• In-game currency store with ship chassis, parts and crew works with first pass player progression balance.
  
• In-game purchase of premium currency and a few vanity items. Note we won't ever sell premium items that have gameplay advantage AKA are pay to win!
  
• A single player mode with simple missions in a single solar system works.
