Why Early Access?

“We are releasing Sweet Boom! in Early Access because we want to develop the game together with the community and use player feedback to improve the core gameplay, balance, maps, modes, and overall experience.
As a small independent team, Early Access allows us to better understand what players enjoy most and which areas should be improved first. Our goal is to continue expanding and polishing the game during development, while keeping the community involved in the process.
We plan to release updates during Early Access, but the exact content and timing may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Sweet Boom! to remain in Early Access for approximately 5 to 11 months.
However, this may change depending on development progress, testing, and player feedback. We want to make sure the game reaches a stronger and more polished state before leaving Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to expand and improve Sweet Boom! based on player feedback and development progress.
Our current goals include improving player customization, adding more content, refining progression and rewards, improving the lobby experience, expanding available maps and modes, and making the gameplay feel more dynamic and polished.
These plans may change during development depending on testing results, community feedback, and what works best for the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version includes playable core gameplay, multiple maps, and several game modes.
Players can already experience the main arcade party gameplay, complete objectives, face different challenges, and play through available maps with traps, enemies, and interactive elements.
The game is still in development, so some features, balance, visuals, and content may continue to change and improve during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price may increase during or after Early Access as more content, features, and improvements are added to the game.
Any price changes will depend on the amount of new content, development progress, and the overall state of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community by listening to player feedback through the Steam Community page and our Discord server.
Player feedback may help us improve gameplay balance, maps, modes, progression, and the overall experience during Early Access.
We may also share development updates to keep players informed about the progress of the game.”
