Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current version available is v0.3.0, with v0.4.0 currently in development. The game's basic systems function. There are few features remaining to be added, and the great need after I finish v0.5.0 will mostly be content additions and polishing the game.

I estimate this to take the rest of the year, but the game is definitely capable of being completed to satisfaction before Q4 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to expand the number and complexity of available events, implement features that rely on the stability of the existing features, and improve the UI and quality of features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Version 0.3.0 currently has basic combat, bartering, exploring, item collection, and endings. Work on 0.4.0 and 0.5.0 is focusing on improving and expanding these features. A initial Steam Version of OHYAD will be as close to a "game that just needs more stuff and a few features" as I can get.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I do not plan on changing the price after Early Access.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan on using community feedback (posts, reports, etc.) to balance events and combat and to handle common issues. It will also help improve features or direct priorities in development. ”
