• Sir Oren (he/him) – Captain of the Vinian Royal Guard. Stoic, dutiful, and slow to trust—but fiercely loyal once won.

• Dena (gender selectable - he/him, she/her) – A childhood friend turned sea captain. Suave, cunning, and willing to do anything for power.
