He is the young general who rose to prominence in the Jintian Uprising; the "Wing King" (Yi Wang), titled at the Yong'an Establishment, signifying "the wings of the Heavenly Dynasty" and holder of the "Five Thousand Years" rank; the ever-victorious commander feared by Qing forces, known as the "Stone Daredevil" (Shi Gandang); and also the tragic hero who split after the Tianjing Incident, campaigned through the southwest, and ultimately met his end at the Dadu River. Now, you will become Shi Dakai. In the turbulent late Qing era of gunpowder and fire, with the game board as your blade and strategy as your shield, at history's crossroads, you will carve your own legendary path.

Wing King Shi Dakai: The Taiping Rebellionis a turn-based strategy game set against the backdrop of the late Qing Taiping Rebellion, focusing on the life of Wing King Shi Dakai. The game deeply recreates key historical moments from Shi Dakai's involvement in the Jintian Uprising to the desperate situation at the Dadu River. It seamlessly integrates real historical battles with strategic gameplay, offering both historical depth and the fun of tactical博弈, allowing you to relive the iron and blood, as well as the tenderness, of this "Poet-General" through careful planning.

Game Background: A Hero in Turbulent Times, a Song of Tragedy

In the first year of the Xianfeng reign (1851), the spark ignited at Jintian. The 20-year-old Shi Dakai led his forces into the anti-Qing torrent, embarking on a lifelong military journey. You will witness his glory and hardships: the breakout at Xiangzhou Zhongping Ma'an Mountain, an early display of brilliance by defeating a larger force; the great victory at Changsha Shuiluzhou, crossing the Xiang River to break the Qing encirclement and open a path for the Taiping Army; the Western Expedition, taking command in a crisis, establishing shipyards and training a navy at Anqing, defeating the Xiang Army twice at Jiujiang and Hukou, crippling Zeng Guofan's main force, recapturing Wuchang, and sweeping across over fifty counties in Jiangxi, forging the myth of "never suffering a single defeat"; the Tianjing Incident, witnessing brethren turn on each other and the slaughter of his family, forced to make agonizing choices between loyalty and survival; after his resentful departure, campaigning through Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Hunan, Guangxi, and Sichuan, holding fast to his convictions while fighting alone, ultimately facing the desperate situation at the Dadu River and the tragic choice of "sacrificing himself to save his army."

The shackles of history are heavy, but each of your choices can alter the outcome—Will you stand firm with the Heavenly Dynasty, assisting Hong Xiuquan to turn the tide? • Turn-Based Strategy Gameplay:​ Utilizes a quadrilateral grid-based battlefield, recreating real late Qing terrains—the blue waves of the Xiang River, the defenses of Jiujiang, the mountainous southwest, the rushing currents of the Dadu River. Each terrain type influences tactical deployment. Forests allow for ambushes, rivers hinder movement, and cities enable stubborn defense awaiting reinforcements. Using terrain wisely is key to defeating larger forces.
