Gameplay

RuneBound is an Action-Roguelike set in a Norse inspired world with a focus on crafting outrageous builds to 'Break the Game'. On your journey, you can expect to find a myriad of unique and interesting artifacts and weapons to grow your power, then refine that power by enchanting your weapons with Runic Magic. Use this newfound might to fight off the ever growing hoard of monsters and even gods that threaten the nine realms!

RuneBound is what you get when combining the fast-paced combat of Enter the Gungeon, the wand-crafting of Noita and the insane builds of Balatro. Loot magic staffs from fallen foes and enhance them with Runes. Collect artifacts spread throughout every level to gain superhuman abilities. Can YOU create the build that out-scales the gods?

In RuneBound, your objective is to fight through the nine norse realms. Every rune is different, every room will be different, the items you find, the runes you bind and the staffs you collect. Craft a build with all you can, and fight through difficult encounters to progress.
