Story

“I”—Chu Hebai—lost my memory eleven years ago.

In that time, the world has changed beyond recognition.
A global catastrophe known as the “Great Collapse”
has left everything on the brink of ruin.

My family’s corporation thrived in the chaos,
gaining immense wealth—
and attracting endless conflict in return.

And yet, I alone remained abroad,
living a quiet, peaceful life for eleven years.

But that peace could never last.

The news of my grandfather’s death
calls me back to my homeland.

What awaits me there is not only loss—
but long-buried memories,
and a farewell that was never completed.
