Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Geareo is a sandbox game with many features still to come. We want to develop the game alongside our community, gathering feedback, ideas, and suggestions to help shape its future.

We already have a community of over thousands of members on Discord and a roadmap outlining our planned features and development goals. Early Access gives players the opportunity to get involved, experiment with the building tools, share their creations, and help us improve the game as we continue development.

Our goal is to build Geareo together with the community, making it the best possible sandbox engineering experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Geareo to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 months to 1 year. This timeframe will depend on the game's development progress, the features we plan to add, and the feedback we receive from the community. Our priority is to deliver a polished and enjoyable sandbox experience rather than rush the release, so the timeline may change as development progresses.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Geareo is planned to include a complete campaign and multiplayer, alongside the additional features and improvements developed throughout Early Access. We also plan to expand the game's sandbox tools and mechanics based on community feedback, making the building experience more versatile and enjoyable. Our goal is to keep improving Geareo with the community and deliver a complete sandbox engineering experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Geareo is fully playable in sandbox mode, currently available through the free demo on Steam. You can build, customize, and experiment with your own mechanical creations. The demo will be discontinued when Geareo enters Early Access. With the help of our amazing community, we'll continue improving the game and adding new features and game modes, including a campaign and building instructions, based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently hope to keep the price the same during and after Early Access. However, this may depend on how the game develops and the amount of content added before the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Our community plays a big role in Geareo's development. We have an amazing Discord community where players can share their creations, suggest new features, report bugs, and give feedback.

We'll actively listen to our players, use their feedback to help shape our roadmap and priorities, and continue improving the game based on what the community wants to see. We believe the best way to build Geareo is together with the people who play it!”

About This Game

Build real mechanical systems in a physics-driven sandbox where gears truly work. Freely resize and shape your parts, solve physics-based challenges, fuse structures into stable mechanisms, and engineer everything from precision machines and clockwork creations to powerful steam-driven contraptions.

Bring your machines to life with gears, springs, steam pneumatics, sensors, and circuits. Experiment with motion, force, power, automation, and control to create everything from clever mechanisms to intricate machines and complex mechanical inventions, all built from parts you control.

Build, test, and experiment with limitless mechanical creations in a dynamic, physics-driven environment.

Unleash your creativity as every gear, joint, and machine comes to life through realistic interactions.

Real gears that transmit motion and force without slipping and with high RPM.

Teeth count, size, and bevel angles are fully customizable, allowing precise mechanical systems.

Build powerful steam-powered machines with boilers, pipes, valves, pistons, and mechanical components.

Connect everything together to create working engines, pumps, locomotives, and intricate industrial contraptions.

Build fully functional circuits with a complete set of parts. Connect buttons, levers, motors, lights, sensors, and other parts to create custom control systems, from simple triggers to complex automated machines.

Combine digital logic with analog signals for precise control. Build programmable computers and intelligent mechanisms where circuits and mechanics work as one.

Resize parts freely to fit your design.

Shapes, gears, and components can be stretched and scaled without breaking physics.

Personalize and fine tune every detail of your machines to build truly unique and innovative designs.

No grid. No restrictions.

Place parts anywhere and build machines exactly the way you imagine.

Follow instruction kits to assemble complex machines step-by-step.

Perfect for learning the systems and building intricate creations.

Challenge your creativity and problem solving skills with engaging mechanical puzzles that push your engineering limits.

Fuse parts into a single stable structure with Super Glue.

Unlike traditional physics joints, fused structures stay rigid and stable even in large and complex machines.
