Why Early Access?

“As a solo developer with limited time this project will take a long time to finish, I feel like the game is playable in this state and would like to involve the community to see what people like and dislike about where it's headed. There is an entire campaign I would like to build that would be single-player that has no development yet, but is planned.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Currently the plan is 2 years for the game to be fully released with all desired features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Currently there is only multi-player mode (which can be played solo) but plans are a single player campaign and completed multi-player features. The features being more/different enemies and a larger array of weapons/items in-game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Only playable mode is the Multi-player (via listen servers) which is stable, players can join a lobby (hosted by a friend) and launch into home base together, where you traverse the gate worlds together while collecting weapons/items and fend off The Fibrous.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, this price will reflect ONLY multiplayer available, I plan on hopefully releasing a campaign/story mode at which time the price would be increased to reflect the added features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“There is a discord dedicated to this game and anything related, this will be accessible via the game, also I will be utilizing the steam forums/comments and feedback sections to monitor what people like and dislike about the game, hoping to improve the game with every comment and concern.”

About This Game

A Third-Person (Over-the-shoulder) shooter/adventure game covering the story of a ex-marine who had a mission go sour and gave up the career. UNTIL - A meteor hits earth a few years later and fibrous-skinned aliens emerge from within and begin taking over Earth! Finick (The Ex-marine) is recruited by what's left of the military to help steal DNA-samples from the alien, coined - The Fibrous, due to their fiber-like appearance. Will you be able to help learn their origins, and weaknesses, and take back Earth? or let another mission go sour and lose your planet?

Developer's Timeline:

The game will originally release with ONLY the multi-player (Online singleplayer or multiplayer) functionality built. Therefore the price will be lowered accordingly. I am a single (fully employed) adult with children so this is really a passion project that will be worked on in my free-time and depending on the community it builds and demand for more? (I have high hopes I know) I have hopes on building a full-fledged single-player campaign rich with the actual lore of the aliens and our ex-marine, Finick. If this is done and the campaign is added, the price of the game will be increased to match the update. I do not plan to ever add in-game purchases or skins or anything of the sort, I want the game to be purchased and fully in-game unlockable items/story/lore.

Dev Notes:

While I've spent many a day trying to optimize every file in the game and doing everything I know how to to keep the file sizes small the game is still pretty graphically intensive. Of course you have options to reduce the quality to try and increase frame rate and for those with compatible-graphics cards there is the option for DLSS.
