What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Hello, my name is Ben, I'm a solo game creator and I would like to invite you, players, to discover and build, with me, the gameplay mechanics of DeepWork. I am a fan of working along with the Community to create the best experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to make DeepWork stay in Early Access for about 6 to 9 months. My goal is to improve the game step by step, adding features, new possibilities, collect feedback, fine-tune and polish the gameplay. When the game is ready, leave Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In DeepWork in Early Access I intend to offer a solid base of gameplay mechanics with 3 layers to explore. The full release is planned to contain more layers with specific challenges on each ones, new buildings, new resources and mechanics.

In Early Access I plan on constantly adding new content (layer per layer) and enriching the gameplay along with close cooperation with our Community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current stage includes : collect and transform few resources, build a dozen of different buildings, explore new areas, open new layers, do researches, sell/buy resources on the galactic market, collect xeno samples.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I have a roadmap in head, things I want to integrate but I'm alone so having the possibility to receive feedback from the community is mandatory, crucial for the project to work. That's my first "big" game so I invite anybody to send suggestions, ideas, feedback, bugs on Steam forums or Discord.”

About This Game

DeepWork is an automation and simulation game. You will have to manage your mining concession and make it profitable by building machines and conveyors. Collect and then sell resources you extract. Expand with more machines, new areas and discover secrets under the surface.

Inspired by Dwarf Fortress & Satisfactory, DeepWork combines planification, extraction and exploration with a top view camera and a maximum of liberty.

You will able to decide what you craft, what you sell and what you stock. The game contains no missions or written objectives but only money, opportunities and new areas to explore, deeper and deeper.

Welcome on X78-R45 Administrator.

Your parcel is waiting for you and we expect you to transform this beautiful land into a very lucrative mining business. Remember that underground sectors are off limits. Exploring them would result into possible retaliation for the company.

First steps:

  • Build machines.

  • Transform raw resources.

  • Manage your electricity.

  • Check the market prices and sell when you want.

  • Build More, Optimize, Expand, Explore, Research, Collect samples and more...

  • Is your parcel the end? What's beneath the surface of this planet?

Prepare for landing.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

I'm a game/level designer so I used visual scripting to make games. AI was used to generate the code of some elements of the game that were too complicated to do in visual scripting. SFX and Voices were also generated by AI.
