The House of Hikmah demo invites you to explore one of our nine beautifully designed levels set in the House of Wisdom. You play as Maya, a 14-year-old girl who is navigating her grief after her father’s passing. Meet fully voiced scholars inspired by real historical figures who offer Maya guidance on her journey.

Using The Key, you’ll solve environmental puzzles by transmuting elements like metal and ether, and disrupting the precariously maintained balance that the scholar Ibn Hayyan has worked so hard to maintain. Take your time to explore and find the hidden journal entries and curios in each level.

As you progress, you’ll uncover a deeply relatable story about grief, legacy, and hope.

By transforming elements with a mysterious device, Maya must solve puzzles to traverse the realms of larger-than-life historical Scholars. Each door she opens uncovers the secrets of her father’s legacy, but behind them lie the shadows Maya may not be ready to face.
