Choom is a high-intensity side-scrolling shooter infused with rogue like systems and set in a brutal, neon-drenched cyberpunk nightmare. Every run is a fresh descent into controlled chaos, where smart decisions matter just as much as reflexes.

Fight your way through a shifting blend of handcrafted and procedurally generated levels, each packed with hostile encounters, environmental hazards, and escalating bullet-hell scenarios. No two runs play the same, and survival depends on how well you adapt to the tools and threats placed in your path.

As you progress, you’ll earn experience by clearing levels and surviving increasingly dangerous situations. Between stages, choose one of three randomly generated buffs, permanently shaping your build for the duration of the run. Upgrade weapons, stack synergies, and experiment with different play styles as you push deeper into the city’s underbelly.

You start each run with three lives. Lose them all, and it’s game over. There are no checkpoints, no safety nets. Each failure sends you back to the beginning, armed only with what you learned last time. Was it a bad build? A risky decision? Or just the city turning against you? Adapt, reroute, and try again.

The ultimate goal is simple and merciless: go as deep as you can. Survive longer, score higher, and carve your name into the global leaderboards as you climb through layers of escalating difficulty and disorder.

Use the built-in level editor to design your own brutal scenarios, share them through the Steam Workshop, or download community-made maps to test your current build against fresh challenges.
