“PZE is a deep simulation game, and deep simulations need real players to find the cracks. We've built and tested the core systems, but balancing an entire galaxy's economy, making sure colonists behave believably across thousands of scenarios, and ensuring the game remains challenging but fair - that requires more eyes than one developer has.
Early Access allows us to:

* Identify balance issues we couldn't find in internal testing
* Prioritize features based on what players actually want
* Catch edge cases and bugs across different hardware configurations
* Build a community that shapes the game's direction

This is a long-term commitment. We're planning approximately one year of active Early Access development with regular updates, patch notes, and direct community communication. PZE will reach 1.0 - and it will be better for having taken this path.”

Build colonies across a galaxy of up to 1,000 star systems - and try to keep your colonists alive. They fall in love, pick fights, develop addictions, and write about it all in their diaries. They don't always make it easy.

Your mentor, Roman Wilk, is dead. His final transmission gave you everything - navigation routes, trade contacts, and a name whispered in the criminal underground. The frontier is yours now. What you build on it is your call.

Core Systems

Procedurally generated galaxy - 200, 500, or 1,000 star systems. No two playthroughs are the same. Every jump is a bet on what's waiting on the other side.

Deep colonist simulation - Full anatomy, relationships, addictions, diaries, and permadeath. Your people live and die on their own terms - and they will make choices you didn't plan for.

Dual economy - Trade legally on dynamic markets where a celebrity scandal can crash an economy. Or go dark: the DarkNet pays better, but heat and notoriety have a way of catching up.

Real-time space combat - Shields fail, crew die, pirates don't negotiate. Every fight is a gamble you can't always afford to take.

Trade legally on open markets where prices jump with every piece of news. A celebrity caught eating a burger? Meat prices spike in three systems.

Or plug into the DarkNet. Smuggle ghosts past patrols. Build your reputation from small-time courier to elite smuggler. Just watch your System Heat - too much activity in one sector and patrols start asking questions.

The void rewards the curious. Derelict ships drifting without power. Alien signals that don't match any known frequency. Artifacts buried on worlds no one has named yet. Every system you chart might hold fortune, danger, or answers to questions you haven't thought to ask.

Space is not empty. Pirates hunt shipping lanes. Patrol ships protect their borders. And sometimes you're the one doing the hunting. Command your fleet in real-time, manage shields, target subsystems, and make the call - fight, flee, or negotiate.

Not everyone gives you that third option.

Alien ecosystems teem with creatures that range from docile grazers to apex predators that'll rip through hull plating. Study them. Hunt them. Race them at the tracks and bet everything you've got on a six-legged thing called "Thunderjaw."

Every playthrough writes its own story. The galaxy doesn't care about your plans - but the people in it might.
