About This Demo

Age After Age Demo is a limited, story-driven scenario designed to introduce the core systems of the full game.

In this demo, you will play a pre-made island scenario where your settlement is already facing a serious economic and social problem. Your task is to stabilize the city, repair its production chains, manage resources, and make key decisions that will shape the future direction of your society.

The demo focuses on the core gameplay loop of Age After Age.

What is included in the demo

• Build and manage a small settlement

• Construct and connect production buildings

• Use the logistics system to move resources between buildings

• Manage basic economy and resource flow

• Solve shortages caused by broken or inefficient supply chains

• Explore part of the island

• Discover story elements connected to the conflict between religion and science

• Make choices that affect the outcome of the scenario

• Reach a demo ending where your decisions influence whether society moves toward the classic age path or an alternative future

The demo is built as a focused vertical slice of the full game. It is meant to show how construction, logistics, economy, exploration, and social decisions work together.

What is limited compared to the full game

The demo does not include the full scope of Age After Age.

The full game will include:

• 12 handcrafted islands

• Full settlement progression from a small pier to a global power

• A larger production and logistics network

• More citizen class needs and social systems

• Global and local trade systems

• Diplomacy, sanctions, blockades, alliances, and market competition

• Full research trees

• Laws and government policies

• Multiple eras and alternative future paths such as Steampunk, Gothic, Industrial, Utopian, and more

• A much larger selection of buildings, technologies, resources, and long-term decisions

Some systems are intentionally locked in the demo to preserve discovery and progression for the full release.

This demo is not a sandbox version of the full game. It is a focused scenario that lets players experience the foundation of Age After Age: logistics, economy, construction, exploration, and society-shaping decisions.
