Shoot. Dash. Collect. Upgrade. VCTR is a kinetic arcade shooter where two simple actions create countless strategies. Survive the wave of enemies by perfecting your timing and positioning. When to shoot or dash is as important as where you shoot and dash and what you shoot and dash into. One wrong decision and the wave is lost. Get in flow and turn the chaos into a series of high-risk, high-reward opportunities to net points.

Upgrades

Spend experience orbs collected during waves on upgrades to help shape your strategy and survive longer. You have limited slots to equip abilities, but plenty of meaningful upgrades to completely change how you can approach the waves.

Controls

Left Mouse Button: Shoot

Destroys enemies and collects orbs. Recharges after 1.5s

Right Mouse Button: HOLD to prepare Dash, RELEASE to execute Dash

Destroy enemies or collect orbs by dashing into them. Recharges after 1.5s

Shoot enemies and the orbs they drop

You can aim your cursor anywhere to shoot enemies and collect orbs. However, it takes 1.5s to recharge between each shot, so you must time when to shoot and decide what to shoot to maximize each shot.

Dash into enemies

You can dash into any direction, destroying enemies and collecting any orbs along your path. Dashing recharges after 1.5s and is your only method of movement. Choose when and where to dash carefully, as it could be a make or break moment.

Collect orbs by dashing or shooting

Enemies drop experience orbs after your shoot or dash into them. You only score points for collecting orbs, so no matter how many enemies you destroy, it means nothing if you don't collect the orbs. Don't wait too long, because enemies will reclaim the orbs themselves on contact. 

Upgrade to improve shooting, dashing, and unlock new abilities and skills

Spend the orbs you collect on meaningful upgrades. From increasing the radius of your shot or dash impact, to completely new skills and abilities that change the dynamics of the game
