What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I built this game for the community of gamers that a game like this would appeal to and want to include them in finishing this love letter to sci-fi movies of the 80's and sci-fi games of the early 90's. Being a solo developer, it's difficult to get play balancing right, as what may be a cakewalk for me, might be nightmare rage-quit fuel for others, so it's important to get community input in at this stage.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Not long!!! I am currently working on finishing the 3 remaining career paths and having some polish put on the visuals and audio. I anticipate exiting Steam Early Access early Q3 of 2026!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will contain all 5 career paths with unique endgame content, a more extensive soundtrack and audio fx and general UI QoL refinements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All of the core features have been implemented. Two of the career paths can be played to completion. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will have a slight increase”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is very important to me! From everything from playbalancing, lore immersion, down to text colors, all will be tweaked with input from the community, as this game is borne on the shoulders of games that were built on player-driven emergent gameplay, so your voice absolutely counts!”

About This Game

The galaxy is vast. Your cargo hold is empty. Your fuel is running low. And somewhere out there, a trade route is about to make you very, very rich... if the pirates don’t find you first.

Warp to Sector One wears its influences on its sleeve. The CRT curvature, wireframe graphics, beautiful ALL CAPS TEXT and command-line interface, the text-driven gameplay all channels the spirit of computer screens in 80's sci-fi movies.

EXPLORE. TRADE. FIGHT. CONQUER.

Every session begins the same way: you, a Merchant Scout, and a galaxy full of opportunity. What happens next is up to you.

A Living Galaxy

▸ Procedural Generation - 2,000 interconnected sectors filled to the brim with pirates, anomalies, hazards, one-way warps, rogue fighters, exploitable planets, trade hubs, starbases, pirate nests, and hidden discoveries.  No two galaxies are the same.

▸ Dynamic Economy - Five regional trade zones, supply and demand pricing, trade fatigue, distance bonuses, and risk premiums. Exploit market inefficiencies or ride the waves of random market events like Mining Collapses and Tech Embargoes.

▸ Epoch Events - Every 2,000 turns, the galaxy transforms. Pirate Uprisings flood space with hostiles. Trade Booms supercharge profits. Faction Wars turn every border into a battleground. Six unique epochs plus a permanent Final Epoch keep long sessions dynamic.

▸ 10 Alien Factions - Territorial civilizations with patrol ships, capitals, and diplomatic standing. Hail neutral ships for intel, bribe hostile captains, build alliances, or wage war.

Five Career Paths, Five Ways to Win

Choose your career at game start. Each path grants unique gameplay bonuses and unlocks dedicated endgame content unique to each career with tiered victory conditions:

▸ Trader - Corner the market and become a wealthy space mogul.

▸ Warrior- Destroy 500 pirates and face The Pirate Alliance.

▸ Explorer - Chart 95% of the galaxy and find all lore discoveries.

▸ Diplomat - Achieve allied status with all major factions through negotiation and reputation building.

▸ Settler - Establish 25 colonies across the frontier.

Deep Tactical Combat

▸ Two Combat Systems - Quick Basic Combat for fast encounters, and a deep timed Advanced Combat mode with multiple phases, multiple tactical stance choices, a momentum meter, and life or death mid-battle event choices.

▸ Scaled Threats - Pirate Hideouts near the core, Raider Bases in the midrange, and Corsair Strongholds in deep space. Rogue fighter swarms, faction patrol ships, and endgame boss encounters test your tactics at every stage.

▸ Fleet Combat - Your hired captains fight alongside you. Guild rank determines how many ships can coordinate in battle.

Build Your Empire

▸ 11 Ship Classes - From the nimble Fast Courier to the devastating Dreadnought. Each ship balances cargo capacity, hull strength, combat power, fuel range, and fighter bay size differently.

▸ Fleet Management - Hire AI captains at Guild Halls and assign them missions: Guard sectors, Patrol routes, Trade autonomously, or Follow your lead. Manage salaries, monitor performance, and grow your fleet to 25 ships at Admiral rank.

▸ Colony Network - Colonize planets to establish Mining, Agricultural, Manufacturing, or Fortress colonies. Generate passive resources and deploy fighter squadrons for territorial defense.

▸ Guild Rank Progression - Rise from Recruit to Admiral by meeting requirements across six categories: wealth, combat, exploration, colonization, fleet building, and lifetime earnings.
