On a dark and rainy night, your car runs out of gas unexpectedly and you barely manage to make it to an old house. With a knock at the door, your life changes forever, and you are pulled inside utter darkness. Can you escape the depths of Acheron?

Whether you prefer relentless, high-intensity chase sequences, slow and moody puzzle-driven escapes, or something in-between, gameplay mechanics and features allow for a wide variety of playstyles, along with multiple difficulty options for precisely tailored experiences. It includes peaceful, easy, normal, hard, and insane difficulties to accommodate for all types of players, along with their own respective lore, collectables, and achievements.

Slow, Quiet, Sneaky: Take it slowly and quietly to sneak around the threats.

Fast, Loud, Open: Move quickly and use dynamic obstacles to outmaneuver the threats.

Environment: Take advantage of the chaotic and messy old house environment.

With multiple endings, randomized item spawns, secrets, Easter eggs, a vast array of settings customization, and more, each experience will be different from the last. The base game will launch with one map, "The Old House," along with the potential for more in the future.

Exploration: Find blocked off areas and the tools to access them.

Randomization: Tool and weapon spawns, as well as obstacles, are randomized.

REACTIVE ENEMY AI

The enemy can hear everything within its range, and certain gameplay events can trigger this range to increase and decrease dynamically. It can also see the player and reacts accordingly. Players will have to navigate and avoid, or exploit, sound traps that lure in the enemy. Players can temporarily kill the enemy, but it is relentless, and death cannot separate it from the pursuit of its prey forever.

Whether you want the bodycam experience, something simple and straightforward, or even something else in-between, the large amount of visual and filter options allows for a highly customizable experience.

Keyboards And Controllers: There are customizable key binds, as well as basic controller support.

Audio: Full audio control, with a master volume slider, along with adjustable sub categories.

Extras: Do you want your character to blink? To breathe? Well, you can adjust that too. There might even be a little extra, for those who can find the ???

Hints And Tips: There are optional functions you can enable and disable on easier difficulties, such as item hints, item outlines, interactable item outlines, and more. Use them as you see fit, but they will auto disable on higher difficulties.
