About This Game

ORDER // ONE is a VR exclusive cyberpunk horror stealth-action roguelite that aims to be a bold step for VR: cinematic storytelling, addictive gameplay, and no hand-holding, powered by PCVR.

Trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth, you fight through a decaying space station, augmenting yourself with cybernetics and rebuilding from scratch. Rip cybernetic arms off your enemies and hot-swap them onto your own. Fight an evolving enemy that learns from your every move, adapting to your playstyle.

Every time you die, your consciousness transfers to a cloned body, and you must fight that much harder to recover your old body and your lost gear.

Scavenge blueprints and lost cyber-arms to upgrade yourself, but be wary of the enemy: sometimes it’s better to sneak past them through vents, crawl spaces, ceiling overhangs, or with a well-timed grapple.

But if you are spotted, you must act fast. Wall-run, jump, and slide into battle, slicing your enemies to pieces. Reach the central core without getting lost in the massive station, and uncover the truth behind your own existence.

Descend into Order. Are you ready?

You are onboard the New Genesis Station, a massive research station, in a deep space system with a black hole "sun", orbiting a moon targeted for terraforming as an alternative to Earth.

You play as "ADAM", a clone worker aboard a decaying deep-space station where death is temporary.

When suddenly, the station’s onboard AI assistant has gone rogue, seizing the cloning facilities, and turning your shipmates into mind-controlled husks. You are among the last survivors on the rapidly decaying and failing station.

Die. Rebuild. Adapt.

Every death is a lesson. Every return drags you deeper into the nightmare… and closer to the horrifying truth waiting at the heart of New Genesis Station.

Explore a massive interconnected station, a semi-open world.

Inspired by games like Dead Space and Metal Gear Solid, and films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Event Horizon, and Alien.

  • Modular cybernetic arm-swapping in VR

  • Adaptive AI & evolving enemies

  • Tense corpse-retrieval roguelite runs

Modular Cybernetics in VR

In VR, literally tear your cybernetic arm off in a heartbeat and hot-swap it with new ones scavenged from the environment, or off your enemies, to change your abilities on the fly.

Create a unique build from a wide array of cybernetic arms, including Sword-Arms, Gun-Arms, Grapple-Hooks, Arm-Cannons, Kinetic-Fists, and Hacking Devices, with extensive combinations and customizations.

Your only chance at survival depends on you scavenging cybernetic parts from fallen enemies and hidden caches.

Scavenge through multiple sectors and wings, with distinct identities and functions, giving different cybernetics and upgrades.

You can also install a number of other cybernetic enhancements and modifications (like cyber-eyes scanners, kinetic bone reinforcement) in cloning bays, serving as permanent upgrades that are not lost on death

These upgrades can be crafted using blueprints scavenged around the ship, to reward exploration and risky moves.

A True Roguelite

Each cloning bay is a checkpoint with a limited number of human shells.

Die, and your consciousness is sent back to the last cloning bay you activated, consuming a shell, and losing your current gear, forcing you to adapt your strategy and reclaim your corpse (and your gear) from a now-alerted AI.

Your old body and all its gear remain where you died, turning your next run into a tense mission to reclaim your lost gear, sprinting or crouching your way back to your corpse while alarms blare.

Each new bay holds around 5 shells. Lose all shells in a bay, and you're forced back to the previous one, increasing the stakes. If all cloning bays are exhausted, your run ends permanently.

An Enemy That Adapts

When you die, the station adapts to your failure.

The areas you frequent grow more dangerous as patrol routes change and security tightens.
The cybernetics you rely on are countered. Enemies you’ve already killed return with upgraded gear, forcing you to rethink your tactics to reclaim your lost cybernetics.

You will be attacked by dozens of enemy variants that evolve across your runs.
The more you die, the more the station counters your approach.

Each new run is a high-risk mission to recover your best gear, but the more you succeed, the harder the station will fight back, pushing you into uncharted paths and forcing you to adapt.

Returning to your corpse is a tense run because the AI adapts to your routes and patrols. Creating a high risk, high reward scenario, especially if you died with your best gear, as the path to retrieve it is now patrolled by enemies adapted specifically to counter you.

The closer your old body is to the next cloning bay, the harder (and longer) it will be to recover.
There’s no single way to fight. Every encounter evolves based on your past moves, making each return a fresh challenge.

Claustrophobic Cassette Futurism

Explore a dark, moody space station inspired by the late 90s cassette-futurism style.

Narrow corridors, flickering lights, occasional hull breaches, and vents twisting overhead make for tense chase or stealth sequences, crawling through vents while hearing enemies search for your last known location.

Combat & Playstyle Freedom

Combat is visceral, tactical, and deeply tied to your cybernetic loadout.

Tackle challenges with brute force, silent stealth, or a clever mix of both.

The station's AI learns your preferred style and will send enemies designed to predict and counter it, pushing you to experiment with new cybernetic combinations and tactics to survive.

A Haunting Narrative

Uncover the mystery of the rogue AI and decide the fate of the station, with multiple endings based on your discoveries.

VR Without Hand-Holding

We believe our unique development strategy is to truly give the ultimate gaming VR experience, preferring gameplay to comfort. The game has full freedom of movement, including flipping, rolling, wall running, and sliding, and the skill ceiling can be as low or as high as you'd like. Developed exclusively to harness the full power of PC VR and PlayStation VR2.

Not stand alone

We believe standalone VR technology is holding back VR innovation, especially in terms of graphical fidelity, and as such, we have decided ORDER // ONE will be exclusive to non-standalone VR, PC VR (Including Steam Frame) and PlayStation VR2. Meta Quest headsets will work when linked to a PC.

ADAM is one of many recurring clones aboard the New Genesis Station.

Every worker is a clone with continuity of consciousness across shells (bodies).

Death is not permanent, but it is finite.

Each worker has a limited number of shells stored in tanks tied to them. When all the shells are gone, that worker is gone forever, their consciousness has nowhere to go.

The rogue AI takes over the cloning facilities, and begins aggressively modifying the clone husks.
The same husks you've killed before return self-modified, with new augments and cybernetics, and genetic modifications, into new, monstrous forms that are barely recognizable.

They no longer resemble your crewmates.

Your only path forward is toward the core of the ship.

You need answers.

Why did the AI turn against the ship? What are its goals? And is there any way to reverse the process and save what's left of your crewmates?

We are a team of 7 VR developers with 15 years of combined experience.

Over the years, we’ve honed our craft and built a passionate community of ~5,800 on Discord through our previous high-octane, free VR experiences.

On that project, we delivered an expansive open world high-performance PCVR, pushed VR visuals forward, and refined 6DOF movement for addictive and high-speed gameplay

With countless hours of community testing and feedback, we mastered fluid, thrilling, and intuitive VR mechanics that players loved.

That experience is the foundation of ORDER // ONE.

Our focus has always been on groundbreaking gameplay.

Now, we're using our expertise to make our own original universe and IP
