About This Game

Fifty gods, five mythologies, and one demigod out to outbuild them all. You pick a demigod, each one unique, fill a board with divine items, and fight your way through the gods of every mythology in your path. Chaosborne is a PvE roguelike auto-battler where you set the board up and the board wins the fight.

No Two Runs Feel the Same

Adapt to whatever each run offers you. The items, events, and gods you meet are reshuffled every time, so every run plays out differently and there is no single build to memorize. The randomness sets the stage, but the decisions are yours: reading the options in front of you, choosing what to buy and what to skip, and arranging your board around the situation is what wins the run. Half the fun is taking a hand you never planned for and shaping a real strategy out of it, turning a rough start into something unstoppable.

Every Demigod Plays Differently

Each demigod belongs to one of the mythologies and comes with its own stats, blessings, and traits, each one pushing you toward a different way to play. Your pick is the first big decision of the run, and it colors every choice after it.

Build Your Board

This is where runs are won. Position matters: neighboring items buff each other, so the same item can be worth far more in one spot than in another. Merge duplicates to raise their tier, and socket gems into your items to amplify their main effect or convert it into something new. Then the fight begins and you do not touch a thing: your board fires on its own timers, sets itself off, and cascades into the combos you built. No two boards ever play out the same way.

Five Mythologies, One Board

Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Japanese, and Chinese each have their own pool of items and blessings, and your demigod's mythology is where a run begins and what you build with. Alongside them are neutral items, tied to no mythology, dropped by the neutral monsters you defeat and free for any demigod to use. Over 500 items and 400 blessings in all, with 50 gods to outbuild.

Features

Pure PvE: every fight is you and your board against the gods themselves, decided by how well you built.
A market between every fight: spend your gold to shop, with rarer, stronger items appearing as you level up.
Gems: socket them into your items to amplify their main effect or convert it into something new.
Blessings: passive powers that shape your run. Each mythology brings its own, some always on, others triggering at the right moment.
Enchantments: rework the items you already own, adding new effects or upgrading their tier.
Progress each mythology: level it up to permanently unlock more of its items, blessings, and demigods for future runs.
