Demo Gameplay

Based on the buildings and features currently available in the demo, you can experience the following gameplay loops.

Hostile Takeover Gameplay

• Visit the bank and take out a loan (the limit is about 50,000).

• Join the Escort Guild and start running escort missions. Intentionally fail missions so the guild must pay compensation, while the player only loses the deposit.

• As the guild starts losing money, its total assets drop rapidly and the stock price falls accordingly.

• Wait until the stock price drops to around 1–5, then start buying.

• Buy a large amount in one go; otherwise, as tradable shares shrink, the price will rebound.

• 51% ownership lets you freely operate the Escort Guild; 100% ownership is required to use the guild’s funds.

• After taking control, you must revive the guild—otherwise it may go bankrupt.

Normal Progression Gameplay

• Take a bank loan, then buy Escort Guild shares at the Commerce Guild and help the guild generate profit.

• Earn money through escort missions while continuously buying more shares.

• As the guild becomes financially stronger and monthly profits increase, the stock price will rise.

• Before selling, check the bulletin board to see how much money is available in the stock liquidity pool.

• Profit from price spreads, then use the gains to acquire other stocks at low prices.

Character Growth

• Gather materials; fight enemies during escort runs to obtain crafting recipes, gems, and martial scroll fragments.

• Craft gear to increase attack and reduce the damage-taken percentage.

• Obtain gems from enemies; gems can be upgraded to improve recovery.

• Practice combo chains to maintain continuous, uninterrupted damage.

Pursuit of Mercantile Power is a game where you can leverage the entire village’s cash flow to buy out the whole village.No money spawns. Control the village’s cash flow, buy shares, and take over the village.

You begin as an ordinary commoner—making your start through escort missions—then move on to join the Commerce Guild, submit proposals to the Bank, expand farmland, and even take office in the Government.

Tax rates, wages, food, and population movement all affect one another, causing the village’s cash flow to rise and fall accordingly.

We only used generative AI during development on a limited basis to create early drafts (e.g., environment sketches, UI mockups, and character concept art). All final assets shipped in the game, on the store page, and in marketing materials were further edited, reworked, and reviewed by humans, and they do not infringe copyright, likeness/publicity rights, or trademarks.
During gameplay, the game does not connect to any AI services and does not produce live-generated content; players will not encounter dynamically AI-generated images or text.
