Run Chubby Run is a side-scrolling game, similar to a 2.5D game but with a bit more freedom. You experience an adventure alongside a boy escaping a bear. The game takes place in the middle of the forest and begins in the middle of the night. You can run, dodge obstacles, find rewards like medals, and maintain your energy by eating fruit. Fast food will deplete your energy. In the game, you can withstand a certain number of attacks from the bear, which are indicated by your clothes tearing with each hit, and the health icon's face features animations that highlight the damage.

The game features a Boy Scout who is left behind after a bear attacks their camp. From that moment on, the boy (Yeik) must escape the bear and rejoin his fellow Scouts. He will travel through many locations, execute different escape mechanics, and collect Scout medals. It's a fun and ingenious game that requires players to overcome obstacles, but the most wonderful aspect is the experience of trying to survive a bear attack in the middle of the forest.

The basic functions are running and jumping. Depending on the level, the player can perform other actions, which will always be explained beforehand and displayed as information icons on the screen. The player will also experience fatigue, forcing them to rest for a few seconds. They can extend their stamina by consuming fruit items, but consuming fast food items will slow them down. This is intended to encourage people to consume less unhealthy food.

One of the escape mechanics involves using a torch to scare the Bear away when it's within a certain distance of the player. Of course, this is done while the player is running to avoid being hit by the Bear. Each hit the player receives is reflected in a circular icon with the character's face, which changes and moves after each blow. The goal of the game is for the character to reach the end of the level, and along the way, they can unlock rewards such as medals for achievements like jumping over obstacles, spotting birds, and more.

During the journey, the player will encounter other scout characters who will provide important information to help them progress and will also cooperate to help the player overcome challenges. The game consists of several levels, each different from the last.
