Miksi Early Access?

We aim to develop the game based on feedback, adding the abilities, cars, and maps that players want, and shaping the gameplay accordingly.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Even though it may change based on feedback, we are considering an early access period of 1 to 2 years.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

-We plan to add more variety of cars and abilities.

-We plan to create larger, more challenging maps filled with traps.

-We want massive races with more players, delivering a complete chaos experience.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

DERACE is in an actively developed Early Access state. The game is fully playable and already delivers the core experience: arcade-style racing with power-ups/skills and chaotic combat-like moments on the track.

What’s already in the game (Early Access right now):

Playable arcade racing gameplay loop (race start → laps/checkpoints → finish/ranking)
Power-ups / skills system (pickups + activation, cooldowns, basic UI feedback)
Multiplayer play with friends (lobbies/host & join flow) and race sessions
Core vehicle handling tuned for fast, aggressive racing
Basic menus and in-game HUD elements needed to play

What is still being improved during Early Access:

More content (additional tracks/maps, more variety in pickups/skills, more vehicles/visual customization)
Balancing (skill/power-up balance, handling tweaks, match pacing)
Performance and stability (network reliability, bug fixes, optimization)

Early Access players should expect ongoing updates as we expand content, polish the experience, and adjust balance based on community feedback.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We plan to gradually increase the price during Early Access as we add major content updates and features. Players who join early will get the game at a lower price, and the price is expected to be higher at full release.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We intend to listen to player feedback—through comments on our game’s page and emails—and add the requested features to our game.

Engine Ability

Disrupts the engines of all racers except the user. When they try to move forward, they go backward, and when they try to go backward, they move forward instead.

Oil Ability

Drop slippery liquid from barrels on your car for the players behind you. But be careful—don’t step on your own trap!

Speed Ability

Provides a short burst of acceleration to get ahead of your friends.
