In Gene Crawl, every generation of warrior inherits the strength of those who came before. Fight through 22 handcrafted dungeons, defeat fearsome bosses, and grow your skills — but death is inevitable. When you fall, your DNA carries forward, making the next generation stronger than the last.

**⚔️ DUAL MASTERY PROGRESSION**

Every skill has two progress bars: a permanent **DNA bar** that persists across deaths, and a temporary **Run bar** that resets each generation. The interplay between the two creates a deeply satisfying progression loop — you're always making progress, even when you die.

**🏰 22 DUNGEONS + ENDLESS MODE**

Explore 22 unique dungeons across 4 tiers — from the Mushroom Grotto to the Celestial Spire — each with distinct enemies, bosses, and procedurally synthesized music. Defeat the final boss? Loop into Endless Mode with exponentially scaling difficulty for unlimited challenge.

**🧬 6 SKILLS, INFINITE BUILDS**

Master Damage, Attack Speed, Stamina, Agility, Critical Hit, and Life Steal. Each skill scales independently with soft-capped growth curves, giving you the freedom to build glass cannons, tanky bruisers, lifesteal vampires, or balanced warriors.

**⚒️ CRAFT & EQUIP**

Forge equipment across 9 gear slots using loot dropped by enemies and bosses. Discover set bonuses, creature-type affinities, and archetype advantages to specialize your warrior against specific threats.

**🧪 BREW POTIONS**

Harvest 5 types of essence from defeated enemies and brew 15 different potions — instant heals, damage boosts, attack speed buffs, damage reduction, and life steal enhancements — in small, medium, and large sizes.

**🔮 24+ RELICS**

After each boss kill, choose 1 of 3 random relics to power up your current run. Stack offensive, defensive, healing, and synergy relics for devastating combinations — but beware, they all vanish when you die.

**📈 18 PERMANENT UPGRADES**

Spend XP on permanent upgrades across 3 tiers. Unlock prerequisite chains, boost HP, XP gain, click power, and more. Higher tiers unlock as you push deeper into the dungeon.

**💤 OFFLINE PROGRESS**

Step away and come back to welcome-back XP bonuses. Earn progress even when you're not playing (up to 8 hours, 50% efficiency).

Every sound effect and music track is generated in real-time from mathematical synthesis — no external audio files. Each of the 22 dungeon themes has a unique harmonic identity across minor, major, diminished, and phrygian modes.
