Failure to do so will result in them transforming into a snake completely, never to regain human form again. Lin Xi, the village chief’s daughter, is soon to celebrate her 20th birthday. She has already sneaked into the city seventeen times to hunt for a qualified sacrifice, but each time she only found so-called "evil" impostors—their hearts were never accepted by the Snake Goddess. If she fails to find a valid offering within ten days, she will lose her human form forever.
