A dystopian workplace thriller inspired by Blade Runner and Papers, Please

You have been assigned a station aboard a colony ship as a Human Resources officer.
Your job is simple: process the applicants waiting outside your door.

Use your desktop terminal to scrutinize digital ID cards, work permits, and medical records.
Determine if they are worthy of a place aboard the vessel.

Forget shuffling physical papers; you have more important business to attend to.
Utilize a retro-futuristic desktop interface to search databases, verify files, and uncover forgeries.

You have a daily quota, a limited amount of time, and rent to pay.
Investigating too thoroughly is a waste of resources.

Let a dangerous replicant on board?
That is a crime, but we can deduct it from your rent.

Will you bend the rules to save a life, even if it means putting your own at risk?
Or will you remain a cold, efficient gatekeeper?

If you fail to meet your quota or make too many errors...
