Cast away from her clan, she walks into the everlasting blizzard to fade away… Until the snowfall colours itself magenta and a voice from afar – yet so close – tells her to travel south and to seek out a great birch. As if persuaded by a greater force, she gets up.

The Characters

An arctic fox calling herself “Traveler” from the isolated Evergale Clan, unjustly exiled.

An unnamed red fox kit from the militaristic Mapleburn Clan, failing to meet their family’s expectations.

Wonderfeather, a curious owl from the Researcher’s Creed, looking to prove themself as a researcher.

Each with their own motivations, they band together to journey through the Inner Taiga, learning from each other and the people they meet!

The World

Prophecy of Vul is a 2D adventure platformer with a wide world full of culture and mystery. Enjoy simple yet refined platforming mechanics that make Inner Taiga a joy to explore! The tutorial is designed to help inexperienced video game players to get used to the controls and to prepare themselves for the whimsical challenges ahead!

Accessibility is a driving force in our game, featuring customizable controls, graphics adjusted for multiple colour blind conditions, modest technical requirements and more!

The art of Prophecy of Vul is all handmade. Every display and colour is deliberate, and is there to communicate with you. The world has a lot to say, and there is a lot to listen to and see for those wishing to fully understand this animal world of clans, tribes and families!

Featuring an original soundtrack focusing on the traditional kantele instrument, the soundscape of Prophecy of Vul switches between magical wonder and tense expectations.
