Welcome to the free playable demo for The Skin Stapler, a darkly comedic, retro-styled horror adventure from Tainted Pact Games, creators of Suffer the Night, Terror at Oakheart, Massacre at the Mirage, and Flesh Made Fear.

This demo delivers 30–45 minutes of tense, story-driven gameplay, introducing you to the grim world of Carrion City and the twisted killer stalking its streets.


What’s Included in the Demo

The Skin Stapler demo lets you experience three fully playable sections of the game, each showcasing a different side of Carrion City’s seedy underbelly:

🚓 Carrion City Police Department

Meet Detective Dick Slater, a hard-boiled, loose-cannon cop with a bad attitude and a worse track record.
Explore the CCPD, interact with colorful coworkers, and get pulled into the case of a lifetime, tracking a mysterious murderer known only as The Skin Stapler.

🌭 The Quick Fix Convenience Store

Take control of Hexy, an overworked clerk just trying to survive another miserable shift. Serve questionable hot dogs. Deal with late-night weirdos. Try to keep your beloved muscle car, “The Jank Wagon,” running.
And come face to face with a very unsettling stranger who seems a little too interested in the night’s menu…

🎳 Gutters End Bowling Alley

Step into the shoes of Blair, a tired employee working the graveyard shift at a run-down bowling alley.

Complete small tasks, keep the place running, and try to survive just another ordinary night…
Until a familiar face walks through the door.

The demo culminates in a suspense-filled sequence that gives you your first real taste of the horror that defines The Skin Stapler.
