Nascentiar is a classic turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler featuring D&D-style D20 combat rules and deep strategic systems. Every step is a life-or-death decision. Every item holds a secret.

• Rogue -- Navigate the darkness with agility and cunning, striking with precision
  
• Cultivator -- Harness the power of the soul. Project your spirit form to explore the unknown. Your soul has its own attributes and acts independently — switch control between body and soul for an entirely new tactical dimension
  
• Mask Master -- Collect monster masks and recruit dungeon creatures to fight alongside you. Six recruitment conditions — Intimidate, Charm, Guilt, Submit, Inspire, Friendly — each representing a different bond with the monsters you encounter

D20 Combat System

A complete D&D-style dice combat system: D20 attack rolls, armor class, critical hits, advantage and disadvantage, finesse weapons. Every attack is a roll of the dice, every piece of equipment shapes your destiny. Over 74 weapons and 63 pieces of armor await discovery.

The Unknown Is the Adventure

At the start of each run, every potion, scroll, and wand has its appearance shuffled. Is that ruby-colored liquid a healing potion or deadly poison? The identification system keeps every adventure full of suspense. Beware cursed equipment — once worn, it can never be removed.

The dungeon depths are home to over a hundred creatures, from worms to ancient dragons. Mimics disguise themselves as treasure chests, ghosts lurk unseen, vampires permanently drain your maximum HP, and imps steal your gold before vanishing. Every floor brings new dangers and discoveries.
