  • Contains a wide range of audio prompts to choose from, or use your own

  • Preview the volume in advance so you don’t scare yourself or set it too quiet

  • Includes layerable soundscapes on timers to help you fall asleep

  • The app enters a low power mode to minimise CPU usage while you sleep/work.

  • Creates an overview ‘schedule’ to see your upcoming reminders at a glance

  • Simple interface to configure, so you can be ready for bed in 5 minutes.

  • Unlock the potential to experience literally anything you could ever want, for free

Unlimited reminders

Set as many prompts as you need throughout the night, with the ability to use a different sound / volume for each one. You can set specific times, or set recurring notifications to trigger at set intervals during a given period. Or both.

Results may vary

Not everyone can lucid dream, and everyone experiences lucid dreams differently. If you’re unsure about what to expect, there is an abundance of literature available on the internet that you can build confidence with, before starting on this journey yourself.

What is a lucid dream?

You're lucid dreaming when you're aware of all three:

  • that you're dreaming, and therefore the actions you take do not occur in reality,

  • that the laws of physics can be broken,

  • and you can clearly remember your waking life

Some tips

  • When you realise the reality you’re experiencing is actually just a dream, try to remain calm. If you’re not careful, your excitement can wake you up.

  • With that said, it might feel like you've woken up, but you're actually still in the dream. Now is the time to perform a reality check (see below).

  • Your most vivid dreams typically occur an hour or so before you wake up, so that’s the best time to set reminders. This also means you’re not interrupting your actual sleep.

  • More reminders during this period is better than less. You’ll either hear them, or sleep through them.

  • Sometimes you won't actually hear the dream reminder, but you'll still become aware you're dreaming, and it's very easy to 'forget' to use your power. If this happens, try using a longer dream reminder, putting multiple reminders in quick succession (20 seconds apart), or putting direct instructions in the prompt like 'you can now fly'.

  • If the reminder wakes you up instead of breaking you through, try using a different sound, some speakers play certain sounds more harshly than others.

Reality checks

The normal advice to lucid dream is to build habits in your daily routine that measure reality throughout the day. The idea is that they occur in your dream too, which then reveals that you’re not awake, such as frequently:

  • Attempting to levitate (you generally can’t do this in real life)

  • Checking your watch (it will constantly change)

  • Checking your phone (it will look very strange in a dream)

  • Trying to phase your hands through themselves (collision is off during dreams)

  • Remembering the chain of events that lead to where you are (if you can’t remember, you’re probably dreaming)

Why should I use this app?

Many people find that just using reality checks on their own don’t work, because when you’re dreaming, unusual things can seem normal and don’t result in any further critical thinking. There may also be a strong narrative occurring that doesn’t give you enough time to check. Not to mention that it could take weeks or months to build up these habits to the point that they occur in a dream.

The alternative

So this is a much more direct approach. By creating an external stimuli, you force your brain to question your situation, rather than relying on luck. This doesn’t guarantee a result, but it certainly increases the odds. There's no wrong way to do it, so just use what works best for you!

Good luck

Don’t forget to share your experiences and methods :)

Anyway, it’s past your bedtime already, isn’t it? Why not give it a try!
