„As a solo developer, my scope is somewhat limited to start this project out, and my ideas for the game and its world are expansive, but time and feedback are needed to feel out what may be missing in the gameplay and general experience. I believe with Early Access community support could greatly help me focus work on areas of the game that players want to see grow, and help refine parts that need work. “

„With good feedback this game could only be in early access for a few months after early access release, giving fair time to address major things people in the community would like to see added or worked on. After early access I hope to still be adding more content and adjusting the experience for players into the future.“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„I plan to add a much more varied adventure system for the Ventba, including some minigames to accentuate what for now is a randomized weighted text based adventure side game. I would like to further expand the complexity of the burner, power systems, and possibly introduce a sort of building overview map that can be filled out as players progress, and in a similar line of incremental mechanics, I plan to create a system that feels more hand built up by the player as they go rather than a job they simply walk up to and begin.“

„Veiled Vents in its current state drops players into the management role of a decrepit megabuilding, that you are trying to reinhabit. You manage a gas burning system with various upgrades that keep the building temperature, and energy sustained, thus helping population grow. Energy can be invested to send the Ventba out for text based adventures, in search of food, upgrades and valuables. The scope of these adventures, upgrades, investments etc. are one of the major points of development I am still expanding upon greatly.“

Změní se cena hry po skončení předběžného přístupu?

„The price will likely be made higher only in direct correlation with big new features being added, I plan for it to stay within a close range to the early access price though.“

Jak plánujete zapojit komunitu do vývoje této hry?

„I am looking for people from the community to help give feedback on what kind of expansions to the gameplay loop they may like to see, suggestions for art direction and economy expansion / balance. In general I would like to see what the community feels could be added or tweaked to truly make it an immersive enjoyable experience. Staring mainly with a community built within Steam forums and Discord, but a dedicated website could be created in the future.“
