Winter doesn't negotiate.

You're building a settlement where spring and summer feel generous—resources flow, population grows, everything seems manageable. Then autumn arrives and you remember: winter stops food production. Everyone needs to eat and get warm.

Before the Snow is tile-placement meets survival puzzle.

  • Place tiles and buildings to create production chains

  • Stockpile enough food and wood before winter arrives

  • Face tough decisions when disasters strike—a collapsed mine costs wood to excavate or loses the building forever

  • Defend against barbarians and disease outbreaks

  • Uncover special places like magic swamps which can help in your survival
