You're a Coffin Hunter scavenging the war-torn Marupto Rift, an edge-of-galaxy graveyard that remembers all sins. Fight, collect the scraps, sell parts for Credits, open coffins for Souls, upgrade your ship and face the fallout next run.

Souls are currency for Vhorr'keth, the mutant trader who sells upgrades that earn you permanent enemies.

Success does not bring safety. It brings escalation.

Coffin Hunter is a top-down action roguelite where the Rift evolves. As your Danger Level and Notoriety rise and faction Vendettas deepen, the Rift grows more chaotic and unpredictable.

The five unlockable factions, each with their own personalities, will:

• Battle you and turn on each other too

• Raise a Faction Alert and deploy elites

• Dispatch Scan Droids & Distress Beacons to locate you

• Launch Elite Patrols to directly target you

• Send a full-blown Retaliation Wave

• Summon one of the Rift's 101 known Bounty Hunters

You become powerful, but never comfortable. Your progression hardens the Rift.

Base Danger rises as you unlock new ship systems and Runtime Danger ramps up as you survive, increasing their presence as factions call in backup.

Choose from 4 Difficulty levels that tweak pacing and aggression. Your choice changes intensity.

Entropy Drift (an adaptive pressure system) lets you feel the Rift breathe:

• After a hard-luck run, they lighten up

• After elongated runs, they show their vengeance

Unlock devastating power: avoid taking damage as you increase your kill-streak to earn weapon stages.

One mistake resets it. Regain it with ice-cold mastery.

Between runs, you appear at the Carnarium Obscura where you can:

• Upgrade your ship at Juno's Shop

• Trade souls for unlocks at Vhorr'keth's Shop

• Track your legacy (Statistics, etc.)

• Eavesdrop on factions via DOSSI (ship chatter monitor)

• Receive intelligence on the TOR (world news monitor)

This isn't "can you survive a run".

It's how much chaos you can unleash before the entire galaxy knows that YOU are the real enemy.
