About This Game

⚠️ Important Before You Play

Gold Up is intentionally challenging.

The controls and co-op mechanics can take some time to get used to, especially at the beginning. Don't expect to master everything immediately, be patient, communicate with your partner, and give yourself some time to learn how throwing, catching, and movement work together.

If you're playing for the first time, we recommend starting on Easy Mode.

Gold up is about Two treasure hunters discover a massive treasure at the bottom of a deep vertical pit.

There's just one problem:

Whoever carries the treasure can't climb.

To escape, you'll need to throw the treasure between each other, climb ahead, switch roles, and repeat.

One bad throw.
One missed catch.
And the treasure comes crashing back down.

🏆 Climb Faster. Compete Harder.

Think you've mastered the perfect route?

Prove it.

The ten fastest teams in the world earn a permanent place on the Main Menu Leaderboard for everyone to see.

Every second, throw, shortcut matters.

Can your team make it into the Top 10?

Master The Perfect Catch

A successful climb depends on timing.

Catch the treasure at the right moment to perform a Perfect Catch and keep your team's momentum going.

The better your timing, the smoother your progress.

Every Throw Matters

The treasure is your most valuable possession... and your biggest problem.

A bad throw can cost your team precious progress and force you to recover the treasure before continuing upward.

Read Your Partner

Teamwork is everything.

A yellow highlight lets you know when you're able to catch the treasure, but success still depends on communication and timing.

Miss It... And Pay The Price

Not every catch goes according to plan.

Poor positioning or bad timing can turn a perfect run into a disaster.

Overcome Dangerous Obstacles

Getting higher isn't the hardest part.

The real challenge is getting the treasure through everything standing in your way.

Moving hazards, unstable surfaces, environmental obstacles and tricky platforming sections become much harder when you're carrying a heavy treasure.

Every obstacle forces your team to think differently.

Express Yourself

Sometimes words aren't enough. Use emotes to react to bad throws, questionable decisions, and the many disasters you'll experience together.
