Shack Animator 2D is a lightweight, production-focused 2D animation application built for speed and control. It centers on a robust raster brush engine, fast real-time playback, and a GPU-accelerated workflow that stays responsive even as projects grow. Whether you’re creating hand-drawn animation, or mixed 2D/3D shots, Shack Animator 2D is designed to keep you in motion from first frame to final export.

A key part of the workflow is real-time PBR lighting and channel painting, helping you add depth and a lifelike feel to your drawings and animation in any style—from hand-drawn looks to 3D-inspired shading. Paint across full PBR channel sets, iterate quickly with GPU-powered tools and effects, and keep your work organized with a flexible layer and timeline system.
