About This Game

THE FIRST AI DETECTIVE GAME THAT DOESN'T LIE.

Developed by a former Meta AI Engineer, Detective Turtletop solves the biggest problem with AI gaming: Hallucinations.

In other games, you can trick the AI into confessing to a crime they didn't commit, or inventing evidence that doesn't exist. Not here.

This game utilizes a proprietary "Truth Table" Architecture. The murder mystery is generated via hard code—the killer, the weapon, and the location are mathematical facts. If a suspect is innocent, no amount of prompt-hacking will make them confess. If they are guilty, they will lie to your face until you present the hard evidence that breaks them.

THE CASE: CINCINNATI, 2016

It is the darkest day in history. Harambe is dead.

You are Detective Turtletop, a hard-boiled reptile with a lust for justice. You have 3 hours to interview the witnesses, collect physical evidence, and sign an Arrest Warrant before "Big Zoo" moves in to sweep the murder under the rug.

THE SUSPECTS

You aren't just chatting with generic bots. You are interrogating high-fidelity personalities with hidden motives:

  • Dr. Z: The zoo's head scientist and an insufferable Reddit Moderator who thinks he’s smarter than you.

  • Brenda: A "militant" vegan activist who may or may not be part of a secret cult.

  • Silverback Stan: The rival Alpha who was tired of living in Harambe's shadow.

  • Ms. Hastings: A terrible mother looking for a lawsuit payout.

  • COVID-19: A mysterious figure coughing uncontrollably who seems obsessed with the year 2020...

KEY FEATURES

  • Type Anything: No dialogue trees. Use your own words to interrogate suspects.

  • The Stress System: Watch the suspects closely. If you ask aggressive questions or present damning evidence, their Stress Level rises. This will change how they act and respond, which may or may not be to your favor....

  • Procedural Mystery: The killer, the murder weapon, and the evidence locations are randomized every time you play.

  • Hard Logic: Suspects know what evidence exists in the world. They won't invent fake alibis that contradict physical reality.

  • Live-Generated Responses: Powered by a world-class AI, dialogues are generated in real-time. No two playthroughs are ever the same.

DISCLAIMER:
This game requires an active Internet Connection to generate suspect dialogue.
AI characters may occasionally behave unpredictably.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

This game uses live-generated AI to power the dialogue of the suspects. When you type a question, the response is generated in real-time, ensuring that suspects react dynamically to your specific accusations and evidence. An active internet connection is required to play.
