Lo que dicen los desarrolladores:

¿Por qué Acceso anticipado?

“Hi, I’m Rockwell. I’ve spent most of my life running after things. Now I’m learning how to slow down.”

We’re choosing Early Access because Rockwell’s Zen Tiles is meant to grow gently over time — just like the journey it represents. Right now, the game already offers a calm, complete puzzle experience, but there are many more places I’d like to visit, moods I’d like to explore, and peaceful moments I’d like to share with you.

Early Access gives my human and me a chance to listen. We want to understand how the puzzles feel, which locations you enjoy lingering in, and how the flow of the game supports relaxation rather than pressure. This isn’t a race to the finish line — it’s a long walk with plenty of stops along the way.

By joining us early, you’re helping shape a game that’s about presence, balance, and finding a little quiet in a noisy world.”

¿Cuánto tiempo va a estar este juego en Acceso anticipado aproximadamente?

“I’m planning to take my time — probably about one year.

That gives us space to thoughtfully add new countries, refine existing locations, and make sure each step of the journey feels calm and intentional. If we need a little extra time to get things just right, we’ll take it. Zen doesn’t rush.

The goal is simple: when Rockwell’s Zen Tiles leaves Early Access, it should feel complete, unhurried, and deeply relaxing.”

¿Qué tan diferente será la versión completa de la versión de Acceso anticipado?

“Right now, Rockwell’s Zen Tiles includes a limited selection of locations so we can focus on tuning the core puzzle experience and overall sense of calm.

During Early Access, we plan to explore adding additional countries and locations over time. These may include new visual themes, soundscapes, and moments of day, such as sunsets, nights, or mornings, depending on development progress and player feedback.

Our intention for the full release is for the game to feel broader and more complete than it does today, with more places to visit and more variety in atmosphere. However, the exact scope and timing of these additions may change as development continues.

We want players to enjoy the game for what it offers right now, while also understanding that Early Access gives us room to thoughtfully evolve the experience.”

¿Cuál es el estado actual de la versión de Acceso anticipado?

“Right now, you can already sit down, breathe, and play.

The Early Access version includes:

One full country (Japan) with multiple locations
40 fully playable levels
Thoughtful puzzle mechanics, including:
Undo rewards for multi-line clears
Clear and Clean Clear bonuses
Swap slots to gently rethink a move
Time-based progression with no timers or pressure
Calming visuals and carefully selected music

Everything here is fully playable and designed to relax you today — and we’ll keep expanding from this foundation as the journey continues.

It currently is playable on the Steam Deck, just not an ideal set up. ”

¿El precio del juego será diferente durante y después del Acceso anticipado?

“Most likely, yes.

As more countries, locations, and features are added, the value of the game will grow, and the price will probably increase when Early Access ends. If you join my travels early, you’ll be getting the game before that happens.

Think of it as settling in early — finding your favorite spot, watching the sun go down, and knowing you helped shape what this journey became.”

¿Cómo tienes planeado involucrar a la comunidad en tu proceso de desarrollo?

“Community feedback will play an important role in shaping the direction of Rockwell’s Zen Tiles during Early Access.

We plan to actively monitor the Steam Community Hub, including discussion threads and feedback posts, and use that input to help guide decisions about puzzle balance, difficulty tuning, accessibility options, and which types of locations or atmospheres players enjoy most.

Periodic updates will be shared through Steam announcements, outlining what has changed and what we’re currently focusing on. While not every suggestion can be implemented, community feedback will help inform priorities and identify areas that need refinement.

Early Access allows us to adjust the game thoughtfully based on how players actually experience it, rather than making assumptions in isolation. Player feedback will help us decide what to iterate on, what to expand, and what already feels right.”

Acerca de este juego

A relaxing puzzle journey around the world

Rockwell has spent a lifetime chasing mice, squirrels, and anything else that dared cross his yard.
Now? He’s tired. And he’s ready to slow down.

Rockwell’s Zen Tiles is a calm, cozy tile-clearing puzzle game about travel, relaxation, and taking things one thoughtful move at a time. Visit beautiful locations around the world, listen to soothing music, and gently clear tiles to help Rockwell unwind and enjoy the scenery.

There’s no rush. No timers. Just peaceful puzzles and a dog who’s finally learning how to relax.

How It Works

Clear lines of tiles to advance time and progress through each location.

  • Clear one line to move forward

  • Clear multiple lines at once to earn an Undo, letting you step back and rethink a move

  • Clear the entire board to earn a special bonus

Strategic play is rewarded, but mistakes are never punished. Zen Tiles is about flow, not pressure.

Travel the World

Each country features five unique locations, each with its own atmosphere and mood.
Clear enough lines to move Rockwell forward in time — and onward to the next destination.

As you travel:

  • Unlock new locations

  • Collect rewards

  • Watch Rockwell settle in, relax, and enjoy the moment

It’s a journey measured in calm progress, not high scores.

Designed to Relax

Every location pairs gentle visuals with carefully chosen background music.
You can mute the music at any time — or let it wash over you while you play.

This is a game meant to be played:

  • after a long day

  • with a cup of tea

  • or while your brain quietly unwinds

Features
