「This game is still actively being built, and Early Access lets me shape it alongside the community. Player feedback is the best way to stress test balance, progression, pacing. Early Access gives players a chance to be part of that process and directly influence how the game evolves through future patches.」

「The plan is for Early Access to last around 6 months. This may change depending on feedback and how development progresses, but the goal is to take the time needed to properly polish systems, expand content, and make sure the full release feels complete rather than rushed.」

「We plant to develop the game further with feedback from the community. We are hoping to develop it into a Multiplayer mode with real time servers, so that you aren't just refining your skills against the bots, and it will see human strategies develop. We also plan to consistently balance the game as time goes on and refine the UI with community feedback.」

「Riftborne is playable as a full single player game in Early Access. You can create full simulated worlds in a sci-fi galaxy, manage and trade resources, raid enemies, raid enemy bases, build up a ship fleet to compete against strategic mining locations, fight against galactic wide campaign battles, a full AI-controlled enemy list. The game supports long term strategic decision-making, emergent outcomes, and replayable simulations.

Current Features of the game include: Full interactive HUD, complex battle simulator, list of over 200+ in game ships, procedurally generated star map world, 120 players and 6 factions. Rich in game contract system for posting jobs or working for large players, siumulated resource market, mining outposts, special resource bonuses across different star systems to discover. At this stage, the focus is on core systems. Balance is still being tuned, and systems may evolve as feedback comes in. 」

In Riftborne, you start from a single base and grow into a network of colonies: manage production, storage, defenses, fleet capacity, and logistics. Oversee a Space Empire that can last for months or even years of in game play time.

This is the single player version of what will eventually become a full scale multiplayer world. 

Key Features:

  • Rich, complex and immersive sci-fi simulation

  • Spreadsheet and data management as a game

  • Terminal HUD strategy: fast, information-dense UI

  • Emergent rival empires: AI commanders grow, raid, trade, rebuild, and pivot under the same constraints you face, so the galaxy develops a readable political and military “shape” over time. Commanders with different personalities pursue different priorities and adapt as conditions change

  • Procedural galaxy generation: each new game builds a fresh star map with “regions” and rarity patterns, including special geography that shapes expansion routes, scouting priorities, and conflict hotspots.

  • Interlocking economy: production, storage, and population growth that scale 

  • RTS style real time gameplay: distance, travel speed, and timing windows shape raids, defenses, and counterplay

  • Economic dynamics: market pressure, contracts, and special shares provide alternate playstyles and growth paths

  • World history: major events are recorded so you can understand what happened and why

  • Long-run progression and leaderboards: rankings, medals, and “firsts” track the arc of a campaign and reward different playstyles
