What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access because this game is built around interconnected simulation systems, citizens, resource logistics, survival needs, hunting, and settlement growth, that benefit greatly from real player feedback.

Early Access allows us to validate core mechanics, balance pacing and difficulty, and iterate on systems that only truly reveal their strengths and weaknesses when players engage with them at scale. Community input will help guide design decisions while the foundation of the game is actively evolving.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 12–18 months. This timeframe allows us to expand core systems, add new content, and refine balance and performance based on player feedback.

As with any Early Access project, development priorities may evolve, and the exact duration may change as the game grows.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand significantly on the Early Access foundation. Planned areas of growth include additional buildings and professions, deeper survival mechanics, expanded hunting, crafting, farming, and resource management systems, as well as more developed religious, cultural, and early governance mechanics.

We also plan to add more settlement management tools, knowledge-sharing systems between citizens, and overall improvements to visuals, balance, performance, and quality of life. All development will iterative, and priorities may evolve based on player feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and centered around core settlement-building and survival gameplay. Players can build and expand a prehistoric village, manage citizens and jobs, gather and process resources, and interact with a living simulation where villagers act autonomously.

The game includes early research and progression systems, as well as religious and belief-based mechanics that grant different bonuses and influence how a settlement develops. Players must also consider defense and survival, including responding to hostile threats such as raids.

While the main gameplay loop is established, systems, balance, content variety, and polish will continue to evolve throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the Early Access price lower than the planned full release price. As new features, systems, and content are added throughout Early Access, the price may increase gradually to reflect the growing scope and value of the game. Early Access players will receive all future updates included with their purchase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community involvement is a core part of our development approach. We plan to:

Actively read and respond to player feedback on Steam and social platforms.
Use player reports and suggestions to guide balance and design decisions.
Share development updates and work-in-progress features.
Adjust priorities based on how players actually engage with the game.

Early Access players will help shape the direction of the game by playing it, discussing it, and providing feedback throughout development..”

About This Game

Shape the Fate of an Early Society

Lead a prehistoric settlement from its earliest beginnings and guide it through a harsh and unpredictable world. In this pre-historic city-builder and survival simulation, every decision matters — from how resources are gathered and shared to how belief, defense, and social structure shape the fate of your people.

Build and Expand Your Settlement

Design and grow your village with huts, tents, production buildings, and defensive structures. Assign citizens to jobs, manage food and materials, and plan your settlement layout carefully to ensure long-term survival as conditions and challenges evolve.

A Living Citizen Simulation

Your villagers are not just numbers. Each citizen acts autonomously, gathering resources, crafting tools, transporting goods, hunting animals, and defending the settlement. Their behavior is shaped by needs, environment, and the overall state of the village, creating an organic and dynamic simulation.

Belief, Culture, and Order

Survival extends beyond food and shelter. Religious and belief-based systems grant different bonuses and influence how your society develops over time. Early cultural and governance mechanics introduce meaningful choices that affect morale, stability, and settlement identity.

Defend Against a Hostile World

The world is dangerous and unforgiving. Players must prepare for and respond to hostile threats such as raids while balancing expansion and defense. How you organize and protect your people will determine whether the settlement endures or falls.

Interconnected Survival Systems

Built around deeply interconnected systems — survival, resource management, hunting, crafting, farming, and knowledge sharing between citizens — the game rewards long-term planning and thoughtful decision-making over simple optimization.
