What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

Vision Runner is since years my ambitious hobby project. Why Early Access? Because i'm at a point where the Development needs more Time to make Vision Runner the Game it deserves to be. Most of the Money will be reinvested into the improvement of the Game.
Most of all I am looking forward to the feedback from the Players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It will take me 12 - 18 months to finish Vision Runner as planned. But that doesn't mean feature and content updates will stop After Full Release. I already got some cool Ideas from the Community for later versions of the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the finished Game, we got some planned features like Multiplayer and many content Updates. Other features may vary through the Feedback from the Community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Player can build and share their Maps/Parkours, download Parkours from the Parkour Central and play against the Time to get on the Leaderboard.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will slightly increase with big feature and content updates. If I plan to increase the price, I will write the Information into the announcement.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I listen to every feedback, suggestion or idea you might have and consider it. But I can't promise, that those features will be implemented. You can interact with me and other players in the forums. Additionally, I have released an Trello Board where Players can vote on their favourite features and improvements.”

Current Development Status

Hello Guys,

as you might read on the forums, i got my new pc and set up everything for development 2 weeks ago.

I started implementing GameSparks as new Game Service. Therefore, I also have to change the login flow and I’m going to implementing the feature many players already asked: Login instantly with your Steam Account instead of creating a Snowbit Account. I also have to adjustment the Structure on the Snowbit Server Side AWS where all maps and the Parkour Central Stuff is handled. Also applying a new Security Protocol.

If the development process continues as currently without major problems the new Update with Multiplayer is planned in April/May.

I hope to see you soon in the Game!
When you have Questions and Feedback, please don't hesitate to write in the Vision Runner Community Forums.

Best Regards,
Cybergebi

About This Game

Vision Runner is a First Person Parkour game currently in development with Unreal Engine 4.

The concept of Vision Runner is the Build, Share & Play principle. You got the opportunity to make your own maps/parkour’s with the In-Game map editor and then sharing them by uploading it automatically after the press of a button to our servers. Then all players can download and play the map in a race against the clock from the map browser or as we call it “Parkour Central”.

The Editor is easy to use, since we’ve made it completely grid-based. Players can simply place Blocks or Objects on the floor or other blocks.
