Who am I?

Assume the role of John Mossberg as he discovers an expansive deep underground military base. Use an assortment of experimental and otherworldly weapons to lay waste to your enemies. Encounter strange beings. Pay no mind to the bump behind your ear. Interact with buttons and levers. Cause many explosions. Lose time. Kick a vending machine. Forget how you got here. Save the world.

What is this place?

IRON takes place inside of a decades-old Deep Underground Military Base where a clandestine black budget US military program is engaged in a wide range of ethically-ambiguous experiments and research. As Mossberg dives deeper into the base, a mystery begins to unfold. How deep down does this place go? How old is it? What's hiding at the bottom?

How did I get here?

The story of IRON unfolds in real time with an emphasis on immersive and environmental storytelling. Inspired by the great silent protagonists of the late 90s, IRON features a persistent first-person perspective to maximize immersion.
