About This Game

Down Below casts you into the mysterious world of the Below. As a lone traveler, you race toward the fabled city of Agorapolis while the creeping force known as the Oblivion follows your every step.

Chapter One (free demo) is the prologue to the game, introducing the story and the first cast of characters who will follow you toward the fabled city, whether helping you or otherwise.

KEY FEATURES

• Narrative-driven - Meaningful dialogue, memorable characters, and discoverable lore shape your journey.

• Hybrid gameplay - top-down pixel exploration paired with sudden arena combat encounters and boss battles.

• Compact demo experience - Chapter One plays for about 25 - 35 minutes when fully explored and is free to try.

• Full game in development – Additional chapters, controller support, and more platforms are planned for the full release.

• A goose.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPER

Developed by a solo creator under the name ThePingoose. Originally started in Unreal Engine 5, the project was rebuilt in GDevelop to create a focused, story-driven pixel adventure.
