Why Early Access?

“We're very confident we've got a solid core, and we've been having riotous fun facing off in space for a couple months now. But we've got far more ideas than we can possibly pursue, and we want your help shaping our next steps. After all, we're making this game for you! We're looking for your feedback to inform where we spend our energy to maximize your fun factor. Help us decide what modes, weapon power up, and arenas to tackle next. As a team, we move very quickly and are eager to iterate together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to be in early access four months while we optimize controls, develop additional modes, and situate the single player experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The initial early access release includes three game modes, two weapon upgrade categories, and three maps with similar environmental hazards. For the final release, we intend to include more guns, maps, and - most significantly- modes to maximize your ways to play.

We're currently working out a waves-based single player survival mode that's not quite ready yet but which we expect to add very soon after launch. We also hope to add networked multiplayer before final release so you can bring all your friends along.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access is fully playable with a core gameplay loop that's tight and delightful. Matches are intense and rewarding. Tank controls and weapon power ups are awesome. The UI is functional if not always beautiful. By purchasing early access, you can play today and get the final game, but keep in mind you may encounter bugs, visual inconsistencies, frame rate issues, or balance issues. These will be addressed as quickly as possible, but we are a small team and we thank you in advance for your patience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect the price to go up as we expand the value overall, so get in early and enjoy the discount!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want fans to share their feedback on the Steam discussion pages. We'll be discussing feedback with fans and coming up with solutions to concerns, problems, and bugs. We'll keep players up to date on changes through patch notes.”
