About This Game

RAGEBAIT is a minimalist rage platformer inspired by classic unfair games and modern precision design.

The rules are simple.
The levels are… educational. 

You will be trained.
Rewarded.
Punished.
And then immediately betrayed. 😌

Every jump, spike, and platform is designed to condition you into believing you’ve learned something...
just in time for the game to do the exact opposite.

Expect:

  • Retro-style visuals

  • Precise jumps

  • Deceptive layouts

  • Sudden traps

  • Mechanics that evolve as you progress

  • Terminal-inspired SFX (beeps, boops, static, and mild electronic panic)

Every level is carefully handcrafted to test your patience, timing, and memory...
and your ability to unlearn what just worked.

DIFFICULTY

This game is not hard…

It’s just persistently unhelpful.

Some players will finish it quickly.
Others will struggle.
Both outcomes are intentional 😈
