About This Game

Through The Never is a rogue-like action RPG set in a reimagined Babylon, where the hero is tasked to stop humanity from building the Tower. Each ascent is a new attempt to fulfill the divine mission - explore shifting ruins, master the Schools of divine power, and adapt your build through fast, skill-based combat. Every run changes your abilities, choices, and the world itself - making each ascent unique and unpredictable.

REBEL AGAINST THE TYRANNY

You are an outcast and a member of the Rebels, a secret group which dedicated itself to total destruction of the legendary ziggurat, the infamous Tower of Babel. The group is led by the Ancient One, whose origins are unknown, and our hero acts as his right hand in doing anything possible to stop and sabotage the building of the Tower.

MASTER THE ARCANE

The Tower is filled to the brim with nasty creatures, deadly traps and powerful foes, and you will need every bit of help to overcome the challenge. Each ascent is unique, and every step of the ladder rewards you with pages and scrolls from lost mythical books of Arcaneum, the library of the Gods. Collect the pages, finish the books, and become the Loremaster of the Grand Library!

BUILD YOUR TEAM

As you progress through your mission, you will encounter other members of the group, who share the same hatred and vengeance as you, but have different motives and reasons. Explore the Chambers, make new friends (or enemies), and fight your way through the hordes together!

REAP WHAT YOU SOW

Actions have consequences, as you will learn throughout your quest. Your decisions and relationships may directly affect the way you play, be that to your benefit or harm. Help the denizens of the Tower, gain favors of your teammates, or antagonize your rivals even further. However, keep in mind that every minute you delay, is another step for your enemies towards their goals. Think before you act!
