Leaving Early Access: September 2026

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're choosing early access because we want players to experience Cancer Crusher USA while we keep expanding it. So, we can get feedback that helps shape the later stages. Our goal is to make the best game we can while continuing to add content and polish.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate Cancer Crusher USA will be in Early Access for approximately four to six months. During this period, we plan to expand the game with additional stages and levels, refining gameplay and balance, while incorporating feedback from players. We intend to continue development and polish the experience as we build toward the full release. Exact length may change based on development scope and feedback, but we would rather take the time needed to properly develop and polish.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will begin with a limited portion of the game's planned content. We plan to make the first four stages available during early access, with approximately two to three levels per stage initially available. As the game evolves, we plan to continue providing updates with additional stages, levels, and content, both during early access and beyond. Early access gives us the opportunity to expand the game over time while refining the core experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current early access version of Cancer Crusher USA is fully playable with our core gameplay in place. Players can navigate the world map, select levels, and replay them to improve performance and ribbon rankings. The first four stages are currently playable, with about two to three levels per stage. The core mechanics are complete and have been heavily tested and refined. And during early access, we plan to keep adding levels and locations, with balance updates and fine-tuning. The major boss levels and some additional locations planned for the full release are not yet included. Early access is mainly about expanding the game content and further refining gameplay.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Cancer Crusher will be available during Early Access at a reduced price of $2.99 as an introductory price. Players who purchase during Early Access will receive all planned updates and the full version of the game when it's released without needing to purchase again. As we add more stages, levels, locations, boss encounters, and additional content, the price is planned to increase when Cancer Crusher reaches its full release. The final full-release price hasn't been determined yet, but is expected to be substantially higher than the early access price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the Cancer Crusher community to be an active part of the game's continued development. During Early Access, we plan to listen closely to player feedback via the Steam Community Hub and other channels, using it to help improve gameplay, balance, and presentation as we add new content. Because Cancer Crusher is built around speed, timing, and replaying levels to improve results, we also hope to host speed-running events and challenges, giving players opportunities to compete and share strategies. Our goal is for Early Access to be a period of active development, where player participation genuinely helps shape the game.”

About This Game

Cancer Crusher USA

Crush cancer. Build momentum. See how well you can handle it.

Cancer Crusher USA is a fast-paced 2.5D side-scrolling action game where you drive a powerful monster truck across the United States, crushing cancer wherever it appears. The game is built around speed, multitasking, and player skill — easy to pick up, but increasingly intense the better you play.

Gameplay Loop Explained

Cancer Crusher USA is about moving forward and crushing cancer while balancing your attention between foreground threats and background opportunities.

Foreground action: Player drivers forward, left to right, switching between 2 available lanes as necessary to evade, jump over or crush targets in the road. Crush cancer in the road to gain a significant speed boost and regain some health.

Background: While the foreground requires most of your attention to succeed, the background contains cancer targets as well, that provide additional resources when defeated.

Cancer Crusher USA has a unique targeting system, inspired by the legendary Sega Saturn classic *Panzer Dragoon*.

Simply hold the targeting button and sweep your cursor across the screen. Enemies become marked for destruction one after another. Release the button, and a barrage of fireworks streaks through the battlefield, curving toward every locked target before detonating in a spectacular chain of explosions - putting on a firework show!

Easy to Learn. Fun to Master.

The game is designed around a simple idea:
keep the player moving forward while giving them just enough control to make every moment matter.

Movement is largely automated, allowing you to focus on what matters most:

  • targeting enemies

  • reacting to obstacles

  • maintaining momentum

Using your cursor, you can quickly move across cancer enemies in the background to lock onto multiple targets.

  • Tap to launch fireworks at a single target

  • Hold the launch button and sweep across multiple enemies to lock them in

  • Release to launch a burst of fireworks at all selected targets at once

It’s fast, responsive, and extremely satisfying — especially as the game speeds up.

Built for Flow and Multitasking

Cancer Crusher USA is all about managing attention.

If you focus too much on avoiding obstacles, you’ll miss opportunities to destroy cancer.
If you focus too much on targeting, you risk losing control.

That balance is the game.

Crushing cancer — whether on the road or with fireworks — gives you short bursts of speed.
The better you play, the faster the game becomes.
The faster it gets, the harder it is to keep up.

Dynamic Roads Across America

Your journey begins in California, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, and continues east across the United States. Each environment introduces new mechanics and variations in gameplay.

Ribbon Roads

Smooth, flowing highways where you can enjoy the ride and focus on targeting enemies in the background. Build momentum and chain together clean runs.

Tumor Tunnels

Tight, circular environments where you rotate around the path to avoid incoming threats while launching fireworks at flying cancer enemies. These sections demand constant awareness and quick reactions.

Helix Highways

Massive cylindrical roads where your vehicle is magnetized to the surface. Rotate around the structure while moving forward, crushing cancer, avoiding rotating spike balls, and targeting enemies both on and off the road.

These sections often descend into large cave systems — some of the most visually dynamic areas in the game — where the scale increases and the pressure builds.

Enemies and Pressure

Cancer isn’t just static — it fights back.

  • Flying enemies chase and attack

  • Rotating hazards block your path

  • Large enemy monster trucks pursue you during high-speed chase sequences

In these moments, you’ll switch between lanes, crush cancer in your path to maintain speed, and launch fireworks to slow enemies down.

Miss too many opportunities, and they’ll catch up.

Constant Movement, Dynamic Camera

You are always moving forward.

The camera shifts dynamically between:

  • side-scrolling views

  • third-person perspectives

Each transition is designed to enhance the feeling of motion and scale, making the game just as engaging to watch as it is to play.

Score and Progression

Each level ends at a hospital, where your run is completed with a firework celebration.

Your performance is measured by:

  • how much cancer you crushed

  • how well you maintained momentum

  • how effectively you handled the increasing speed

Crushing cancer on the road gives immediate speed boosts.
Destroying enemies with fireworks creates collectible energy that returns to you, extending your momentum.

Perfect runs are possible — but not required.

A Game With Purpose

Cancer Crusher USA is part of a larger mission.

50% of all gross profit from game and merchandise sales will be donated to cancer-related charities.

If you’d like to support the development of the full game, Cancer Crusher USA will soon be live on Kickstarter and Gamefound. Your support helps fund continued development, formation of the studio as an LLC, marketing, and expansion to additional platforms including PlayStation, Nintendo, and mobile devices on Apple and Android.
