Survive an adventurous journey alongside Ao.

As you journey onward, you’ll gather resources, build shelters, craft tools, and fend off hostile creatures. Work together to survive and protect Ao throughout your adventure.

A LIVING ISLAND

Ao isn’t just something you travel on, it’s your home, and a living being that depends on you. As you navigate the endless ocean, Ao drifts through ever-changing biomes, bringing new seas, resources, and dangers.

But Ao is not always at peace. When it grows anxious, you’ll need to protect it, care for it, and help it recover, whether by feeding it or keeping it safe from threats.

SURVIVE!

Explore islands, fish in open waters, and build up your shelter as you prepare for storms and harsher days. When night falls, hostile creatures may emerge, testing your defenses and your resolve.

SHRINES & SPIRITS

Out on the ocean, lost animal spirits are waiting to be set free. Find their remains, bring them back to Ao, and place them in their shrines. These offerings help restore balance and slowly change the world carried on Ao’s back.
