“Buster Breaks Out is a roguelite developed by a single person. Because the game offers many upgrades and viable playstyles, high-volume player feedback is essential for tuning balance and pacing. During Early Access, I plan to iterate quickly with the community to improve balance, add new mechanics and upgrades, and refine the overall experience based on player data and feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I am planning for Buster Breaks Out to be in Early Access for approximately 3–6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, I'm planning to include additional upgrades, achievements, characters, and unlockables, along with improved balance and further polish to visuals, effects, and story elements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the start of Early Access, Buster Breaks Out is already a complete, playable experience. It includes 40+ upgrades, 5 unlockable characters, and 25 levels with 5 bosses. Visuals and effects are already in a polished state. During Early Access, I'm expecting most development to focus on balance, new content, and feature expansion, with ongoing polish where needed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. I do not plan to change the price during Early Access or at full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to share and update a public roadmap and use community feedback to guide development priorities. I'd like players to have a core role in shaping balance and pacing, and for community suggestions to inform new upgrades, features, and content. Feedback can be given via Steam discussions, and I plan to communicated any updates through regular patch notes and announcements.”
