Why Early Access?

“We are splitting the game into two halves so players can play the first half while we finish the second.
Early Access lets us:

- Ship a complete, playable first half instead of waiting until the whole game is done.
- Get feedback on combat, enemies, and RPG systems before we lock the finale.
- Spend the extra time on a stronger second half and ending.

We are committed to finishing the game. The story, characters, and overall structure are already set. Early Access for us is not an open-ended experiment. It is a timed period to polish the first half, listen to players, and complete the second half for full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to launch Early Access around November/December and aim for full release around May/June of the following year, about 6 months.

That timeline can shift a little if polish or the second half needs more time. We will post updates on Steam if the date changes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access is the first half of the game only. You can play up to about the 50% story mark, which is currently around 5 hours of content.
The full version will add:

- The entire second half of the story and ending.
- The remaining areas, encounters, and bosses from that half.
- More enemies and combat variety based on Early Access feedback.
- Extra polish, balance, and bug fixes across the whole game.

Early Access is not the complete game. The second half and the finale are not included until 1.0.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The first 50% of the game is already built and playable: story through the midpoint, characters, areas, combat, and enemies for that half.
What we are still doing before / during Early Access:

- Polish, bug fixing, and playtesting the first half.
- Balance work on combat and enemies.
- Store, build, and QA work so the Early Access build is stable”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to change the price during Early Access.

We plan to raise the price at 1.0, when the second half ships and the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want feedback mainly on combat, enemies, and RPG systems (pacing, difficulty and rewards).
The plot, characters, and overall story structure are already decided and will not be rewritten from community feedback.
We plan to:

- Read Steam discussions, reviews, and bug reports.
- Post regular dev updates.
- Use playtests and patches to adjust combat and the RPG side during Early Access.”
