Why Early Access?

“I am an indie developer that wants to turn this into a career, and while I have been able to get a lot of my game's basics built out, I want to do a lot more with it. At this point it is fun, but not the game I want it to be, so I would like to use early access to get player feedback as well as let players know it is not yet as awesome as it will be on full release. It will only improve from here.

My planned improvements through early access include:
- Art improvement
- Sound and music improvement
- Expanding the list of upgrades available for players to choose from
- Adding to platforms supported

Community involvement:
I will be using the Steam discussion boards to keep in touch with players, getting their opinions on updates, and to keep track of bugs the community finds.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Most likely around 6-12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I want to greatly improve my art and sound design, as well as largely increase the amount of upgrades and build choices available to players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All the basic mechanics are in the game, even if some of them are in a bit of a rough state. The game loop is fully playable.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Probably not. It might depend on how much content I add through early access, but no plans to increase the price at the current moment.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I very much want player feedback to improve the balance and feel of the game, as well of course bug reporting will be huge.

My main source of feedback will likely be through steam discussion boards to start, and I may create a public discord and/or website at a later date.”
